Five basic ways of how to monetize a BLOG...

I wasn't expecting that I'll have to post again on my blog so soon, but for whatever reasons I’ll be disclosing a few things that I'll be discussing with you in my later blog.

For now, I will just inform you about a few ways to monetize your blog:

·         Contextual Advertising: A common way that most bloggers use is make a blog and get the contextual advertising done on the blog. For starters, the easiest way to start blogging is to blog through blogspot.com which is supported by Google. Once you have started your blog you can apply at Google Adsense which can be very helpful in monetizing your blog. The people who have experience in blogging can apply for sponsored advertisement on their blog.

·         Affiliate Marketing: Many people have made thousands of dollars just by doing affiliate marketing. In this type of work you don't need to have a product of your own, instead you promote product of someone else and get commission of what is sold for your link or blog.

·         Sponsorship: When you blog on the net you can choose the content you want to put in it. You write an article or support a company/cause or place an advertisement on your blog telling about the company and charging a monthly fee for the same.

·         Product promotion: Once your blog starts to run with heavy traffic and people show their interest in your blogging and when you become a sort of branding, you can start a product of your own, promote it, and make a most out of it. Most commonly the digital products such as e-books are sold by most website owners and it's not a bad idea!

·         Simple donation: When you get an ample amount of readers reading your blog and appreciating it, you can easily get a clue that they like the way you write and most of them, if not all benefit from the information that you put on your blog. In this case you can always put a small “donation” button on your blog. This can be in the form of “buying me a coffee/tea”, this works as in the case of most famous blogger.

There are many other things that keep coming in the way as you go on and on. These are just 5 of them which I want to mention for now. Later…

First Step Towards The Inevitable...

I had to start... I had to...

This being my first post, I would like to discuss why I am here.

Many of the famous bloggers on the net boast about earning thousands and thousands of dollars, sitting at home and just maintaining a blog or a website. 

Now that is a big enough amount for me to find out how these people do it and whether there is any truth in these claims.

In this case, I'd consider myself a gunny pig and will start from scratch to try and find out what is that “something” that is needed to earn big bucks on the net.

These posts will be helpful to all those who see a potential of ample earning through Internet but don't know where to start from, I also welcome all those who have already experienced blogging or have made money from the net to share their experiences with us and enrich this blog…
